The Neoflo belt is a medical device that helps control and improve breathing. Respiration belts aren’t new, but this model features a unique set of haptic motors that produce more precise, defined vibrations. It feels like you’re being gently guided through each inhale and exhale.
The main purpose of this design is to let Neoflo test its market and then raise funds for mass production. At this stage, the design needs to reflect the founders’ and the company’s values.The product is designed for production, but its main mission is to carry the brand.

The turquoise and white fabric belt strikes a good balance with medical themes, but we also needed some zen and meditation cues so as not to put off users looking for a more comforting experience.
The removable pebble that serves as the controller embodies that side of the product.
The technological side was already in an advanced stage so we could have a good idea of most of the specifications we wanted (number of buttons, size of the belt, remote position on the belt). The concept phase was centered around fine-tuning the medical-to-zen ratio.
