The A1 laptop sleeve truly protects against impacts. With integrated corners designed to absorb shocks, the A1 aims to be the first sleeve to give your $2,500 laptop the protection it deserves.
Most sleeves protect the laptop’s exterior, but they don’t guarantee that internal components won’t be damaged, causing a failure that may only show up weeks or months later, or in the middle of a long work session before you’ve saved.
The design process was split into the corner design and the sleeve design. The corner design followed a digital testing process where different iterations were analyzed until a viable solution was found. Viable meant a level of vibrations so low that it couldn’t be visualized on the components.
The design direction evolved from a more fashion-oriented direction to a design that would be a good visual translation for the technology, without seeming overpowering. The star of the product is the corner and the contrasting elements with the blue zipper, inner lining and corners.
