In between the action
Action cams have changed the way we think about sports. Extreme, breathtaking footage gives us a thrilling recreation of the athlete’s experience.
The truth is, there are moments in between the action. When people try surfing for the first time, or when experts are scouting for the perfect wave, there’s downtime.
That’s an opportunity to make the experience exhilarating in a different way. Having experienced this firsthand, we realized that music helped us focus, find peace of mind or build excitement. It was what we craved out there, especially in those in-between moments.
Yet even after extensive research, nothing on the market met our needs. We needed a system that was versatile, indestructible and packed with features that suited our activities. Groove while you move!
An action cam records video for later. We’re focusing on the present moment, the motivation it takes to get out there and push your body. Footage is fun to watch later; music is fun right now! M+One lets you connect your passions.
The main design challenge was creating a visual language that works across the three main sport categories: cycling, board sports (water and snow) and hiking.
